
This is a state of the art special education program for monolingual
and bilingual children between the ages of 5 and 21 years. The focus
of the program is on the attainment of functional skills that include
activities of daily living, academic achievement and socialization.
The Prevocational Program incorporates all facets of transitional
services which address students' individual long term adult outcomes.
This programs include: travel training, community integration, socialization
techniques, job searching techniques, exploration of post-school
programs, volunteer job experience, workshop skills, and hands-on
work experience.
Services are provided, all 12 months of the year, to eligible children.
All referrals must be approved by the child's home school district.
